Due to growth, a successful business services group of companies in Cardiff are recruiting for a Senior Finance Assistant on a permanent basis.
Working closely with the Head of Finance, this is a busy role and an important appointment which is responsible for daily transactional duties of several distinct companies as well weekly, monthly and quarterly financial reporting.
Senior Finance Assistant duties
* Process Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger invoices across several different companies on a daily basis.
* Reconcile multiple bank accounts for different companies, ensure funds are held in correct account.
* Reconcile supplier and customer accounts and ensure they remain accurate.
* Make supplier payments for all companies as required
* Chase outstanding debts.
* Responsible for production of weekly debt reports.
* Reconcile income, calculate vendor payments, charges and fees and raise relevant invoices and make payments.
* Monthly reporting on income and invoicing and salary costs.
* Monthly Inter-company reconciliation
* Assist with VAT Returns for companies across the Group.
