You’ll play a pivotal role in integrating, testing, and securing a range of systems and applications, focusing on designing, building, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure. As an Infrastructure Engineer within our Integration & Test team, you’ll drive innovation and safeguard digital infrastructure by ensuring robust, high‑performance systems that support mission‑critical solutions.
You’ll need an understanding of Windows and Linux systems and DevSecOps principles, and experience working within a multi‑disciplined team. Knowledge of core software tools, methods, and frameworks to reliably integrate and deploy features into environments is required. Additionally, we’re looking for candidates with hands‑on experience in infrastructure engineering, including cloud architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform, Ansible), and system performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, develop, and execute software test and integration plans, ensuring compliance with specifications, while leveraging infrastructure engineering best practices to maintain system reliability and scalability.
* Develop scripts and integrate automated testing frameworks within CI/CD pipelines and a wider ecosystem of tools, incorporating infrastructure automation to streamline deployments.
* Debug and identify defects in the whole stack, from front‑end to back‑end databases and middleware, focusing on resolving infrastructure‑related bottlenecks and issues.
* Integrate and deliver large and complex solutions into a wider system‑of‑systems, ensuring infrastructure components are robust and interoperable.
* Deploy in public, private, and hybrid cloud environments, addressing potential constraints while optimizing infrastructure performance and security.

Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience
* Demonstrable experience in Test and Integration.
* The ability to work within an agile environment and deliver using Scrum and Sprints, utilizing tools such as Jira and Confluence.
* Experience working with Agile and DevSecOps software delivery.
* Experience planning, developing and executing test plans.
* Experience in developing strategies supporting formal product sell‑off.
* Experience in automated testing in the software domain.
* Experience developing GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
* Experience with commercial and open source automated testing frameworks.
* Experience working with Git, Atlassian suite, Jira, Confluence or similar.
* Knowledge and automation of both functional and non‑functional aspects of a system.
* Automated analysis and reporting of test results, identifying trends or anomalies over time.
* Knowledge and experience in setting up and developing testing environments and blue‑green deployment approach.
* Experience in integration and debugging complex software systems at scale.
* Qualifications or certifications in ISTQB Foundation, ISTQB Testing Specialism (Agile, Performance, Security, Manager or Analyst), ISTQI – Certified Agile Tester.
* Desired skills:
* Support maturation of automated CI/CD software pipelines for cloud deployments.
* Understanding of IaC and using it to deploy and integrate services on cloud.
* Hands‑on experience in using and integrating with AWS services such as EC2, EKS, Fargate, IAM, S3, Lambda.
* Experience using the AWS SDK (Boto3) to automate integration tasks.
* Experience or understanding of hybrid‑cloud application deployments.
* Understanding of CloudTrail to debug and diagnose integration issues.
