Key Info:
Location: Salisbury
Salary: £12.61 per hour
Shifts: 5/7, 40 hours plus paid overtime
Schedule: 1 in 3 weekends, early starts (5/6am-2/2:30pm) or late shifts (11pm-7:30am)
Required Skills:
Solid understanding of produce and ingredients
Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and maintain high standards
Experience in varied kitchen environments and cuisines
Working knowledge of HACCP procedures
Familiarity with food production methods
Willingness to embrace new ideas and processes
Positive and approachable attitude
Duties Will Include:
Supporting the kitchen team in preparation, cooking, and presentation of food to agreed standards
Assisting with supervision of junior kitchen staff
Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
Ensuring customer dietary needs are met
Contributing to a positive kitchen culture and team performance
To Be Successful, You'll Need:
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Commis Chef ready to step up
Food Hygiene certificate and allergen awareness training
Basic knowledge of health and safety (COSHH etc.) - training available
Passion for hospitality and delivering great service
Ability to stay calm under pressure
Team player with a proactive attitude
