Your new role Revit Modelling: Create and maintain 3D Revit models for architectural projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications. Drawing Production: Generate construction drawings, details, and documentation using Revit, translating conceptual designs into detailed, dimensionally accurate plans, sections, and elevations. Detailing can be produced using AutoCAD software. Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, and other project team members to coordinate Revit models, resolve design conflicts, and ensure the integration of all project elements. Quality Control: Conduct thorough reviews of Revit models and drawings to ensure adherence to industry standards, project guidelines, and company protocols. Project Support: Assist in the preparation of design presentations, design development, and construction documents, providing technical expertise and input as needed. BIM Management: Contribute to the development and maintenance of BIM (Building Information Modelling) standards and best practices within the organisation. Training and Mentoring: Provide guidance and training to junior staff members on Revit workflows, best practices, and emerging technologies in the field. Software Updates: Stay current with the latest updates and features of Revit software and implement new tools and techniques to enhance efficiency and productivity. Client Interaction: Participate in client meetings and presentations, communicating technical information effectively and addressing client concerns related to Revit models and drawings. What you\'ll need to succeed Experience: A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Revit CAD Technician in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry. Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit Knowledge of other relevant software such as AutoCAD, Navisworks, or other BIM-related tools, and experience of other software such as Enscape/Clash Detection/NBS Chorus would be advantageous. Familiarity with industry standards and codes, experience of ISO accreditation to ISO27001 would be advantageous. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and clients.
