We are actively seeking a Paralegal to support our clients Data Protection and Compliance functions as follows:
* Assist the Group and Deputy MLRO and Group and Deputy DPM
* Perform Compliance tasks such as assisting on the production of SAR’s, DPIAs and AML reviews – within tight deadlines
* Undertake reviews of the Compliance policy framework, ensuring that policies remain accurate and up to date.
* Undertake ongoing AML/Sanctions screening and manage the ongoing monitoring required by policy.
* Report on key KPI’s and KRI’s to the Compliance Management team
* Support in the production of reporting for Compliance governance forums.
Qualifications and skills:
* At least one year of prior experience working within a Compliance function or other legal department. Hands‑on experience supporting Compliance processes, including SAR preparation would be a plus
* Can-do attitude with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
* Approaches work in a structured, organised, and methodical manner
* Ability to think on your feet and be pro-active
* Able to identify potential issues and escalate to the right people as needed
* Demonstrated experience working to tight deadlines in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment while balancing competing priorities.
* Ability to support business outcomes by managing multiple time-sensitive projects concurrently.
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
