The children we are looking to support have a range of additional complex needs and so we are seeking experienced SEN /HLTA's/tutors/teachers.
We are currently recruiting for a KS5 Tutor to provide provision to a Student based in Dartford. Support in English functional skills is required.
1. Location - Dartford Kent
2. Position - 1:1 Tutor
3. Start date - ASAP
4. End date - Ongoing - Definitly until the end of the academic year, with potential of being extended.
5. Contract type - Temporary
6. Hours - 2 hours per day - 2 days per week
7. Rate of pay - £25/£35 per hour
8. Term Time Only
9. During School Hours Only
We are looking for candidates who are:-
10. Available during school hours up to 30 hours per week.
11. Experienced in delivering differentiated National Curriculum core subjects.
12. Experience teaching young people with a wide range of complex and challenging needs including SEMH/ASC/MLD/SpLD
13. Exceptional behaviour management strategies.
14. Prepared to work face to face within the community.
Requirements
15. Background teaching in English, Maths, Science or SEN classes ranging from KS1-KS5.
16. QTS status (or equivalent) or unqualified with two years' experience teaching NC core subjects
17. Experience working with SEMH/ASD/EBD/SEMH and associated complex needs.
18. 2 years previous experience working within a UK school.
