Key Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant: Provide support to teachers and pupils in and out of the classroom. Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging learning activities. Work one-to-one or with small groups of pupils, including those with SEND. Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment. Support pupils with their academic, social, and emotional development. Requirements for a Teaching Assistant: Experience working with children in an educational or care setting is desirable. A relevant qualification in education or childcare is advantageous. Patience, resilience, and a nurturing approach to working with young learners. Good communication and teamwork skills.
