Senior HR Advisor
Location: Leeds, office-based
Salary: £40,000 DOE
Contract: 6 Month Fixed-Term Contract - with potential to move to permanent
We are supporting our client in their search for a Senior HR Advisor to join their team in Leeds. This is a generalist HR role with a core focus on Employee Relations, providing operational HR support across a large workforce, and supporting the implementation of HR initiatives and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the first point of contact for HR queries and provide advice in line with legislation and company policies
Manage day-to-day HR matters including absence management, disciplinaries, performance management, and onboarding
Support managers with change programmes and HR projects
Assist the HR Manager with TUPE transfers and compliance updates
Drive HR initiatives including mental health, well-being, and DE&I campaigns
Support delivery of the HR strategy and core people initiativesWe are looking for:
Solid experience as an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner, ideally within an operational background.
Proven experience managing Employee Relations and supporting large workforces
Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices
Ability to work independently and provide leadership on HR matters
Excellent communicator with the ability to build relationships at all levels
CIPD qualified or working towards
