EMBS Engineering is in partnership with a reputable engineering company located south of Birmingham which is a globally recognised, market-leading precision engineering/manufacturing business that supports world-renowned industry leaders.
As part of the company's growth, our client is looking for a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join the team on a permanent basis.

 * Late shift, 16.30 to 2.30 (Monday to Thursday) with designated breaks
 * OR
 * Day shift, 07.30 to 16.30 Monday to Thursday, and Friday 07.30 to 12.30 with designated breaks

Your responsibilities include:
 * Working with various metals and performing various Sheet Metal / Fabrication / Metal Working techniques, such as riveting, spot welding, bonding, and brazing, to complete the required components
 * Carrying out a wide range of manufacturing methods, such as hand forming, grinding, and stretching, for the construction of each part
 * Working to tight tolerances using thin-gauge materials such as aluminium
 * Reading and working off complex engineering drawings
Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate:
 * Previous Sheet Metal or fabrication experience
 * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
 * Ability to use hand and air tools effectively & safely
 * Previous experience of deburring, fettling, polishing, linishing, etc
