We're currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work in primary schools across the Kirklees area. This is a fantastic opportunity to support individual pupils with additional needs, helping them to access learning and reach their full potential.
The Role
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Provide tailored support to individual pupils, both in and out of the classroom
* Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to deliver personalised learning plans
* Foster a positive, nurturing environment to help children thrive academically and emotionally
* Support children with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social/emotional needs
We're Looking For
* Experience working in schools or with children with additional needs (essential)
* A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A proactive attitude and willingness to adapt
* An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one)
