By bringing together demand, capacity, and shop floor execution, you'll help keep production running efficiently while contributing to the continuous improvement of our planning processes. What you'll be doing: - Build achievable production sequences by balancing load and capacity across multiple processing areas, supporting the Master Production Schedule. - Work closely with Shop Floor Planners to ensure ERP data is accurate, realistic and aligned with delivery commitments. - Monitor progress daily, identifying risks to schedule adherence, expediting when needed, and supporting recovery plans. - Analyse short term load vs. capacity, highlight constraints, and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve bottlenecks. - Manage planning related quality activities including NCR progression, operation completion dates, and service order schedules for processing operations. Candidate skills & requirements What you'll bring: - Strong knowledge of production planning fundamentals, such as MRP2 principles (e.g., APICS). - Understanding of special processing techniques-Shot Peen, NDT, Paint, Surface Finish or Heat Treatment is an advantage. - Familiarity with ERP systems, production flows, and continuous improvement tools such as LEAN. - Excellent communication, teamwork and influencing skills, with the confidence to lead discussions and resolve conflicts. - A proactive, adaptable and results driven mindset, with strong decision making and organisational skills.
