The Role:
Reporting into the CTO, you'll be at the forefront of our mission to deliver exceptional experiences. From overseeing product development to collaborating with cross-functional teams, your innovative mindset will be crucial in shaping the future of our brands, including Patch Plants and Arena Flowers.
In the first 12 months, you'll lead the charge in merging two fantastic businesses, Patch Plants and arena.online. Your tasks will include migrating Patch's inventory management system, overseeing the replatforming of Patch Plants' website, and driving inventory and Infor ERP system upgrades. As the role evolves, you'll take on responsibilities like managing the engineering team, product management, and leading key product development streams.
What We're Looking For:
Product Management:
* Prioritise tech requests from multiple business functions for maximum impact.
* Maintain a detailed backlog and keep stakeholders informed.
* Ensuring cross team alignment whilst managing the engineering resource effectively.
* Own objectives, run discovery processes, and balance customer and business needs.
* Proactively identify & communicate potential risks and opportunities.
* Embed solutions with users and effectively document new solutions
Lead Key Product Development Streams:
* Collaborate across business functions to understand needs and co-design solutions.
* Analyze product performance and define improvement strategies.
* Work with engineering to design agile and effective solutions.
Engineering Team Management:
* Cultivate a high-performing team culture.
* Support hiring processes for the P&E team.
Skills We're Looking For:
* 5+ years of relevant experience in B2C e-commerce/Supply chain & logistics
* Agile mindset with a focus on MVP.
* User-centric approach to solution design.
* Hands-on experience and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
* Strong analytical and data-led decision-making skills.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Proactive risk identification and mitigation.
* Requirement to be in the Droitwich office 1-2 times per month
