As we restructure, we’re looking for an enthusiastic Service Engineer to join our dynamic team.

The role objectives
To diagnose, repair, prepare, service, and maintain a range of agricultural machinery. Record and justify work carried out using mobile phone app. Working predominately on site and at times in depot. Undertake mandatory manufacturer’s training courses on‑line in depot and at manufacturers venues. Work to main dealer working principals following correct procedures to achieve quality and efficiency. To deliver industry leading support to our customers.
Responsibilities
* To diagnose, repair, prepare, service, and maintain a range of agricultural machinery, with ability to diagnose technical transmissions/engines/hydraulic and electrical faults.
* Use IT system to diagnose faults where applicable and file reports to manufacturers.
* Complete digital job cards with high level of detail and accuracy in a timely manner.
* Obtain necessary parts for repairs from parts department.
* Able to work alone using your own initiative and as part of a team.
* Can do attitude to resolve issues.
* Follow the company’s health and safety policy and procedures at all times.
* Confident communication skills to internal and external contacts.
* Carry out daily maintenance to company vehicle.
* Maintain acceptable levels of standards and discipline.
* A degree of flexibility required to working hours as there is a requirement to respond to out-of-hours call outs and work overtime.
Ideal Experience
* Engineer: 2 years (preferred)
* NVQ or related qualifications (preferred)
* Salary – competitive dependent on experience. Basic working hours 39 hours per week Monday to Friday (plus overtime to meet seasonal demands and out of hours support).
* Holiday entitlement 22 days increasing to 26 days on length of service plus Bank Holidays
