Property Litigation Solicitor – 6+ PQE – Bedfordshire – Salary GBP 70,000 – 85,000+ DOE
The Role
An opportunity to join a growing and highly regarded property disputes team within a well‑established regional law firm. Acting for landlords, tenants, developers, property owners and management companies, you will manage a varied caseload of commercial and residential property litigation matters.
The role will involve:
* Advising on commercial lease renewals under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954
* Forfeiture and possession proceedings
* Dilapidations claims
* Rent and service charge disputes
* Restrictive covenants, easements, rights of light, break notices and wider breach of covenant issues
* Risk management and dispute resolution strategies
* Working closely with counsel and expert witnesses where required
* Supervising and supporting junior fee earners
* Contributing to business development initiatives
* Playing a key role in the continued expansion of the department
The Candidate
* Qualified Solicitor with at least six years’ post‑qualification experience in property litigation
* Strong background in commercial property disputes
* Excellent technical knowledge, strong client management skills and a commercial approach to dispute resolution
* Experience handling a busy caseload independently
* Involvement in business development activities
* Genuine interest in mentoring junior lawyers
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Proactive approach
