Overview
Assistant Store Manager - Nottingham (40 hours per week, 14 month FTC). The role focuses on motivating the team and delivering a meaningful shopping experience to customers. You will be second-in-command, ready to support or lead in the Store Manager’s absence, with a focus on driving store performance through excellent customer service, teamwork and efficient operations. The role finishes at the end of January 2027.
Responsibilities
* Act as a role model for the team and an ambassador for Rituals.
* Support the Store Manager in creating a culture of trust, using positive and constructive feedback.
* Recruit, hire and retain a diverse and talented store team.
* Coach team members to improve engagement and help them reach their full potential.
* Assist with day-to-day business activities as the Store Manager’s right hand.
Qualifications
* High energy, low ego, with a sense of humor.
* Ability to encourage others and help the store meet customer satisfaction and sales goals; inspiring and performance-oriented.
* Prior relevant experience at Assistant Store Manager level or equivalent within retail or hospitality.
* People management skills (communication, motivation, coaching, connection, and inspiration).
* Experience in sharing knowledge to drive behavioural change and develop others.
* Decision making and problem-solving skills.
