Job DescriptionWorking in a hybrid style, based at home and Dundee House, you will work full time, 37 hours per week, on a fixed term basis for 4 years.
ResponsibilitiesYou will assist and support functions of the Trading Standards Section, including fair trading, weights & measures, consumer safety, animal health, sale of restricted products and the Trusted Trader Scheme whilst undertaking the Trading Standards Practitioner Diploma qualification.The IndividualYou will have experience of working with the general public, report writing and of providing effective presentations. You will also have excellent organisational skills, experience of using Word/Excel packages, and good communication and workload co-ordinating skills.
You will be able to gain the Trading Standards Practitioner Diploma within four years. This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
