Level 3 Early Years Practitioner – Full-time, temporary position from as soon as possible until March 2026 We are seeking a qualified Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join a warm and inclusive early years setting. Children are happy and settled, and they benefit from a well-planned curriculum that supports their development across all areas of learning. Staff are well supported by leaders, who ensure that safeguarding is prioritised and that children’s individual needs are met. The setting promotes a safe, nurturing environment where children thrive and make good progress. Duties as Level 3 Early Years Practitioner: Support the learning and development of children aged 2–4 years Assist in planning and delivering engaging activities aligned with the EYFS framework Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing Help maintain a safe, clean and stimulating classroom environment Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to team planning Support children with additional needs and liaise with parents and carers Observe and record children’s progress to inform planning and reports Ideal Level 3 Early Years Practitioner: Holds a Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare Has experience working in a nursery or early years setting Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development Excellent communication and teamwork skills Patient, caring and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children Why Step Teachers?
