This role is part of an exciting collaboration with Leicestershire County Council, providing innovative care for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and challenging behaviour.
Salary up to £47,793 yearly26 days annual leave plus bank holidays, with the option to buy up to 5 additional daysService-related sick pay from day 1Access to a Group Personal Pension with matched contributionsDeath in service cover of 4x annual earningsDiscounts at high street shops and Barnardo's storesAccess to a health cash plan and employee assistance programmeThe Role:As a Registered Manager, you will: Manage a team of Residential workers and coordinate staffing rotasCollaborate with the Local Authority for effective placement of young peopleFoster a supportive culture meeting the complex needs of service usersEnsure high standards in the physical environment of the homeConduct team meetings and represent the service in formal settingsContribute to service development and assist with home mobilisationParticipate in on-call duties, rota cover, and out-of-hours workThe Candidate:The ideal Registered Manager will have: A valid UK driver's licenceLevel 3 qualification relevant to Residential ChildcareWillingness to work towards Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social CareAt least 3 years' experience working with children, including 1 year in a senior roleKnowledge of OFSTED Regulations and Quality StandardsExperience in safeguarding and protection of childrenThe client is the UK's largest Children's Charity, dedicated to supporting vulnerable children and young people.
