We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Mortuary and Bereavement team at Salisbury District Hospital as an Anatomical Pathology Technologist (APT).
The successful candidate will ideally hold the level 4 RSPH qualification and be able to work at a senior APT level. Applications from level 3 RSPH qualified APTs and potential trainee APTs will also be considered.
Main duties of the job
·To participate in and help coordinate the smooth running of the Mortuary and Bereavement Service in Salisbury District Hospital and providing a service for Wiltshire, North Dorset and West Hampshire.
·To undertake all aspects of administrative work associated with the Mortuary and Bereavement service.
·Operate within a highly flexible team for the effective overall delivery of patient care.
·To possess the skills and qualifications to work as an APT and maintain a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Mortuary and Bereavement processes.
