We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Deputy Nurse Manager to join our team. As Deputy Nurse Manager, you will support the Registered Manager and work alongside the Clinical Lead in overseeing the day‑to‑day operations of the home, ensuring all policies and procedures are followed to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with the people we support and their families, empowering them to make decisions about their lives while ensuring their personal needs are met.
* Support the Registered Manager and Clinical Lead in all aspects of running the home, including staff supervision, rotas, care planning, quality assurance, training, budget management, clinical oversight, medication management, and working on the floor as Nurse in Charge when required.
* Monitor activities and ensure the quality of care and support meets company policies and regulatory standards.
* Promote a culture of teamwork, development, and best practice across the service.
* Represent the organisation professionally in all internal and external relationships.
* Participate in the on‑call rota alongside the Home Manager.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 3 years' experience as a nurse.
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in a leadership role.
* Valid NMC Pin.
* Up‑to‑date knowledge of best practice in supporting older people and individuals living with dementia.
* Flexibility to work on a rota basis, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
Located in a quiet residential area in Blackpool, Glenholme Bispham Gardens provides care and support for mature adults and older people who are looking to enjoy a relaxing lifestyle and retirement. The home offers 52 beds and was expanded in 2021.
