An exclusive opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced Area Sales Manager to drive the sales of construction brands in a field-based role, suited to a motivated individual, with a proven track record in plant, construction, or heavy equipment sales being essential to this role.
Role: Area Sales Manager
Area: Cambridge & surrounding areas - Suffolk, Essex and London
Salary: £50,000 per year + guaranteed year 1 commission
The requirements of the Area Sales Manager will be:
 * Contribute to the sales growth of the division by generating sales leads as a result of effective networking, referrals and prospecting.
 * Successfully identify, penetrate and close business opportunities to a effective conclusion, whilst identifying and securing additional sales opportunities such as parts and service.
 * Consistently achieve sales and profitability targets.
 * Maintain an excellent relationship with suppliers ensuring the correct specifications for an order are delivered to the customer.
 * Actively develop a network of customer relationships with both new and existing clients.
The ideal candidate for Area Sales Manager will be:
 * Experienced within the heavy plant sector, ideally within a machinery or parts sales role
 * Motivated & target-driven individual
 * Self starter who is able to manage their own responsibilities and working day
 * Possesses a customer-focused mindset
 * Credible in sector knowledge
 * Flexible approach to work
