Overview
Junior / Trainee Electrical & Control Systems Engineer
Responsibilities
 * Control System Design / Knowledge of Electrical Engineering Fundamental Principles / Modification of Existing Codes / Ladder Logic.
 * Design of electrical systems and specification of electrical components for bespoke machinery, working to three phase (415V) down to 24V circuits.
 * Coding of software, primarily in ladder logic; may involve writing software from scratch or modifying existing code used in a similar machine.
 * Programming of HMI’s and SCADA systems, calibration of robotic systems, and the instrumentation used to monitor the process.
 * Being the point of contact for production during the build and test phase.
 * Design and modification to hardware designs, including panel layouts, schematics, and line diagrams.
 * Involvement in the installation, commissioning and SAT process; some travel to client sites.
 * Working with Allen Bradley, ControlLogix software.
Qualifications
 * Strong technical knowledge in electrical engineering, including an understanding of three phase power, schematics, and machine layouts.
 * A Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in electrical and electronic engineering, or a similar, relevant subject.
 * At least one year’s industry experience, outside of placement years or internships, working as a controls engineer.
 * Willingness to travel to client sites internationally when required.
