What will your role look like?
* Organise and manage shifts to ensure the safety of children, young people, and staff
* Develop, review and implement individual care and pathway plans
* Attend and contribute to meetings such as CLA reviews, education planning and discussions with social workers
* Build positive relationships with young people’s families
* Provide day‑to‑day care, including meal preparation, supervision, laundry, cleaning and social activities
* Maintain accurate records and reports for key young people
* Mentor new staff and promote the ethos of the home
* Act as a positive role model at all times
What can you expect in return?
* Competitive salary circa £35,000 (inclusive)
* Paid overtime at 125% of the contracted hourly rate
* Overtime bonus of £100 for every 50 hours completed
* £50 per night sleep allowance when required
* 224 hours annual leave (28 days)
* Rolling rota (2 days on, 4 days off)

Are you the right person for the job?
You will hold a QCF Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People and have experience working in a children’s residential setting. A full UK driver’s licence is required.
