Job Title: Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver
Location: Nursling Industrial Estate
Pay Rate: £12.90 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary (approx. 3 months)
Start Date: Monday 13th October
Working Hours:
* Monday – Thursday: 07:30 – 17:00
* Friday: 08:00 – 18:30
* Occasional Saturday shifts may be required
About the Role
We are recruiting an experienced Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver to join a well-established warehouse team based in Nursling. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a busy operation during their peak period.
Applicants must hold a valid Reach, Bendi, or Counterbalance Forklift Licence and ideally have recent experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Accurately booking in customer orders via the warehouse portal
* Picking and locating stock using the warehouse management system and RF scanners
* Preparing hotel and bar stock orders
* Loading and unloading trailers and containers
* Booking in landed orders returned from ships
* Scanning and processing documentation as per customer requirements
* Completing all paperwork to company standards
* Following all health & safety procedures
* Supporting the Warehouse Supervisor/Operations Manager with day-to-day operations
