About the position
Reporting to the AVS Business Unit (BU) President in Europe, the HR Director will oversee our global organization to improve business growth and people processes. The role is preferred at our Leicester, UK facility, but other European locations are considered.
You will be part of our leadership team, supporting BU leaders to achieve business goals through an engaging and inclusive HR approach.
As the BU HR Director, you will lead and implement the HR strategy to attract, develop, and retain employees, supporting strategic objectives and business success.
Responsibilities include
* Establishing an HR Services strategic plan aligned with global goals.
* Developing and implementing policies, processes, and procedures.
* Managing HR services such as Compensation, Benefits, HR analytics, and HR systems.
* Improving HR processes for growth and efficiency.
* Advising business leaders on growth, staffing, and restructuring.
* Mentoring and developing HR professionals.
* Developing HR reporting mechanisms.
* Managing talent acquisition, development, compensation, and engagement.
* Supporting diversity, equality, and inclusion initiatives.
* Communicating HR policies and ensuring legal compliance.
* Managing HR projects.
About the ideal candidate
The candidate should have at least a bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, or related fields, with a minimum of five years in a similar role. Experience in manufacturing is preferred, with strong strategic and commercial awareness. Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels are essential. International travel will be required.
