Looking for experienced Site Engineers to join our dynamic site delivery team working across a variety of civils and tunnelling projects. The Site hours will be 7-7 and it can be CIS or PAYE general location of works runs from Stanlow to Mancot (Deeside) to Flint.
Site Engineer Job Overview
Set out detailed civil works in accordance with technical drawings and specifications.
Regularly check drawings, plans, and quantities to ensure accuracy on-site.
Ensure all works meet quality standards and maintain robust quality records to client specification.
Support the site team with engineering solutions to technical challenges.
Carry out pre-start site surveys and ensure readiness for works.
Ensure smooth handover of completed works and documentation, working closely with the Project Manager.
Promote and maintain a strong safety culture, ensuring full compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.
Perform site instrument calibration checks as required.
Identify and assist in resolving any unforeseen technical issues that arise on site.
Site Engineer Job Requirements
Previous experience on civils projects is essential, ideally including tunnelling or microtunnelling.
Strong track record of setting out on civil engineering sites.
Sound knowledge of construction methods, site safety, and relevant regulations.
Valid CSCS card required.
Flexible to travel and work on sites across the UK as needed.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Practical problem-solving and troubleshooting ability.
