Position Overview
You will be working on major water and wastewater schemes throughout all phases of the project, from feasibility through to construction, within the UK water market.
Responsibilities
* Engage in projects covering all phases of the life cycle, influencing scheme design, enhancements, and best practices.
* Explore innovations in Net Benefits to Biodiversity, integrating these into client advice and strategy development.
* Work on a diverse range of projects and tasks to challenge and grow your skills.
* Collaborate with ecologists and environmental/engineering colleagues both onsite and in the office, deepening understanding of our consultancy and construction business.
* Advocate integrated solutions and innovative technology, ensuring quality and sustaining our environmental business.
Qualifications
* A degree in Ecology or a directly related subject.
* Knowledge, understanding and experience of applying relevant guidance for surveys.
* Report writing experience.
* Knowledge of assessing and implementing biodiversity net gain.
* A valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across your operational region.
* Protected species licence or working towards one.
