Job Description: Solutions Architect - Financial Services
AWS is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to provide expert guidance to our Financial Services customers. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor, helping Financial Services organizations optimize their adoption and leverage of AWS technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Work directly with Financial Services customers to accelerate their initiatives and recommend best-practice cloud architectures aligned with their business outcomes.
2. Lead technical solution discussions, resolving complex challenges and designing scalable, resilient cloud architectures.
3. Manage each customer engagement with clear objectives and success criteria.
4. Define and execute strategies by collaborating with technical teams including Solutions Architects, Technical Account Managers, AWS consultants, and partners.
5. Act as a thought leader by sharing best practices, presenting at events, and writing white papers and blogs.
6. Influence the AWS platform's development by sharing customer feedback and advocating for new features and services.
7. Contribute as a key technical member of the Solutions Architecture team, ensuring customer success on AWS aligned with their long-term goals.

Minimum Requirements:
* 4+ years in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, security, networking, or data analytics.
* 2+ years in application and infrastructure design, implementation, or consulting.
* 10+ years in IT development or consulting within software or internet industries.
* Experience in software development or internet-related industries.
* Cloud Technology Certification (e.g., Solutions Architect, Cloud Security Professional, Cloud DevOps Engineer).
