This role is ideal for an experienced HR administrator who enjoys being at the heart of people operations and providing high-quality support across the full employee lifecycle. As the first point of contact for HR-related queries, you will play a vital role in delivering an efficient, compliant, and customer-focused HR service. You will support managers and employees alike, ensuring processes are followed accurately and in line with legislation and college policies. Key Responsibilities Act as the first point of contact for HR operational enquiries, providing advice and guidance to managers, employees, and external stakeholdersManage pre-employment compliance and vetting in line with Safer Recruitment and Keeping Children Safe in Education requirementsSupport recruitment activities including advertising, recruitment packs, fairs, and interview schedulesAdminister all stages of the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to exitIssue contracts, offer letters, and variations in line with employment legislationMaintain accurate employee records, including the Single Central RecordSupport payroll processes by ensuring timely and accurate submission of employee changesProduce HR metrics and reports for senior leadersManage HR inbox workflows in line with service KPIsProvide administrative support to the Employee Relations team as required Essential criteria: Minimum of 2 years' HR generalist administration experienceStrong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment termsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience producing accurate contractual documentationStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing prioritiesProficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using HR systemsSound understanding of data protection and GDPR Desirable: CIPD Level 3 qualification (or working towards / willingness to work towards) At Reed, we believe that experience is just as important as qualifications.
