Bellshill, Scotland Job Description At Peacock Technology we develop robotics and artificial intelligence systems to help food producers reduce their labour requirements, improve long term food sustainability, and improve animal welfare. We provide a range of products using robotics, machine vision and sensing technologies to monitor cow behaviour and provide farmer insights for disease prevention, welfare, and sustainability. Our multidisciplined development team includes engineers specialising in software, electronics, mathematics, and mechanical engineering. We also have close working relationships with universities, colleges, and research organisations. Job Summary The ideal candidate will have excellent engineering and strong leadership skills. What sort of tasks will you undertake within our Product specialist team? Your primary role is in the build, installation, service, repair and support of our products. Provide on-site training and support to our contractor and dealer network. Oversee installations being completed by our contractor and dealer network. Ensure high levels of client service. Out-of-hours support calls as part of a 24/7 on-call rota. Always present a professional image, whether by telephone, in writing or in person. Timely reporting of progress or delays to the team and contractor manager. Timely completion and submission of risk assessments, work reports, activity reports, site tasks and all other documentation as required. To Be Considered For Interview You Will Have A formal engineering qualification OR HNC/HND level education OR 2 years field service experience. Experience in electrical installation (Qualified with 18th Edition would be an advantage). PASMA and IPAF would also be desirable. Adaptable on your tools as well as having strong computer literacy. Quick, logical thinker with strong problem-solving skills. Organised and with excellent attention to detail. Excellent time management skills. Good written and verbal communication skills. Enjoy delivering a great customer experience. Full UK driver’s licence. Exciting international travel opportunities across the UK, Europe and the USA.
