Legal Assistant - Residential Conveyancing, Ipswich We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our Residential Conveyancing team. This role involves supporting fee earners throughout the conveyancing process, from initial instruction to post-completion and file closure. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate client and matter records using our case management system. Liaise with clients and third parties (solicitors, estate agents, lenders) to provide updates and progress transactions. Assist with drafting legal documents, preparing contract papers and coordinating document requests. Manage financial processes including payment requisitions, billing, and completion statements. Handle pre-exchange, pre-completion and post-completion tasks such as searches, Land Registry applications, SDLT filings and document archiving.
