Get ready to embark on a fabulous new opportunity. As a part of our dynamic team, you'll be responsible for hands-on care of small animals, providing both routine and emergency healthcare in two of our Portland House Practices. Our main site in Retford has state of the art equipment and our practice in Goole has been newly refurbished.
We are ideally looking for a full time vet - 40 hours over 4 or 5 days, however, we are flexible and able to offer part time and flexi time if that is more appealing. Weekends are Saturday only 8:30am - 12:30 pm on a 2:4.
We are also able to offer a split position spending 1-2 days a week in our Retford hospital giving you access to a wealth of colleague knowledge and state of the art equipment.

Welcome to Portland House Vets and Vermuyden Vets, trailblazing small animal practices located in the heart of Retford and Goole. Our Vermuyden practice has recently undergone a breath-taking transformation, expanding our small animal services, and setting the stage for even greater achievements. Our practices boast cutting-edge facilities, including a digital X-ray system, dental X-ray, ultrasound, endoscope and a full internal lab. But that's not all!
Across both sites, our team currently consists of 16 vets, 11 nurses and 12 support staff. Delivering first-class service to our clients and their beloved pets is our top priority. To ensure your well-being, we have a dedicated mental health first aider on hand.
