Clark Door are looking to appoint one Level 3 Metal Fabricator apprentices to join their growing team in September. This apprenticeship is designed for individuals looking to start a rewarding career in engineering, particularly within the fields of welding and fabrication. The chosen candidates will train as a skilled metal fabricator capable of manufacturing complex fabricated structures using a wide range of metals, fabrication techniques and welding processes, Apprentices will support the production of custom doors and structural components for specialised use in construction, industry and architecture. Key responsibilities Assist with the marking, cutting, forming and assembly of metal parts. Learn to interpret technical engineering drawings and use them to guide work. Carry out welding and fabrication tasks under supervision using MIG and TIG processes. Prepare and finish materials to precise specifications using a variety of hand tools and machinery. Comply with all safety, quality and environmental procedures. Communicate effectively with team members ad supervisors. Attend off-the-job training sessions and complete coursework and assessments as required. Demonstrate commitment to learning and progressing your role. Key requirements Strong attention to detail and quality. Manual dexterity and confidence using tolls and machinery. Effective communicator and team player.
