Training Budgetary Administrator – Power T&D Team
Location: Derby, UK
Balfour Beatty is seeking a motivated Training Budgetary Administrator to join our Power Transmission & Distribution (T&D) team in Derby. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the delivery of training provision while managing and coordinating the department’s budgetary data.
Key Accountabilities
To ensure that all budgetary transactions are processed and aligned to the Technical Training Budget. Responsible for carrying out relevant quality audit checks to ensure compliance with all relevant procedures and to record any non-compliance
What you'll be doing
* To generate internal invoicing on a weekly basis to cover all contract areas
* To analyse and produce weekly profit and loss reports, identify any discrepancies and pursue to resolution
* To track and manage the annual training and competence budget spend and produce relevant reports
* To collate and manage purchase order’s, GRN’s and cost sheets for the training and competence team
* To manage weekly registrations with all the relevant industry bodies to ensure the correct funding is obtained and produce relevant reports
* To liaise with payroll on all relevant training and competence issues in respect to attendance on any training event
* To promote a professional image at all time in support of the companies and department values
* To ensure that you develop your capabilities through continuing professional development
* To carryout any additional responsibilities from time to time in line with business needs

Who we're looking for
Skills Required
* Good IT skills, particularly with Microsoft packages such as Word and Excel
* Knowledge or previous experience of working with financial systems would be a distinct advantage
