Service Advisor – Main Dealership, Newbury
Salary: £30,000 Basic plus Bonus (£38,000)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 6 PM (Weekends OFF)
Key Responsibilities
* Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and providing information on services offered.
* Schedule service appointments and manage the work order process efficiently.
* Communicate with technicians to ensure a clear understanding of service requirements and customer concerns.
* Provide detailed estimates and explain the services to customers in a friendly and professional manner.
* Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
* Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
* Contribute to a positive team environment and assist colleagues as needed.
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven experience as a Service Advisor or similar customer‑facing role within the automotive sector.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to engage effectively with customers.
* Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
* Familiarity with automotive service processes and related software is preferred.
* A strong commitment to providing high‑quality customer service and building lasting relationships.
