Senior Quantity Surveyor This is an exciting opportunity for you to join our Quantity Surveying Team in Belfast. The role involves all aspects of traditional quantity surveying services across professional consultancy advice and contract administration of construction projects, from inception to completion. Within the role you will be working on a variety of projects in a wide range of commercial, hospitality, education and public sectors. What you'll be doing You will work closely with our projects team, cultivating relationships with both new and existing clients within the private and public sector. You will be working on a range of exciting projects,from small scale to £40m.The role will capture all aspects of quantity surveying from the preparation of early pre-contract feasibility cost estimates through to post contract tendering, negotiation and completion.You will have a professional and positive approach with the ability to work as part of the successful QS team in Belfast as well as being self-motivated and proactive in using your initiative. Management and development of pre-contract cost plans and estimates Monthly reporting on costs through development of projects Advising and preparation of procurement documents Delivering a full range of post contract cost management services Building relations with new and existing clients, design consultants and contractors Who we're looking for Our ideal candidate will have BSc in Quantity Surveying (or similar) RICS membership, chartered surveyor status or working towards full membership Experience in a similar quantity surveying role Experience in managing construction contracts and ensuring compliance in contractual obligations Strong analytical and organisational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team and independently An excellent salary package including hybrid and flexible working will be offered to the successful QS.
