Job Summary
Lead and support the facilities and operations team in the management of the Arts Centre and Theatre, ensuring high levels of customer service, health and safety, security, and buildings maintenance. Provide senior leadership support to the technical department.
Job Description
As a member of the senior leadership team, contribute to the strategic planning of South Hill Park with a focus on buildings maintenance, customer service, health and safety, and managing the facilities and operations team, along with top-level leadership of the technical department.
The operations and technical teams include: Director of Operations & Technical; Operations Manager; House Managers; Maintenance Coordinator; Janitors; Cleaners; Technical Stage Manager; Stage Technicians; and front of house Volunteers.
The house management team collaborates with a third-party catering company to support and advise on catering and events, including the Atrium Restaurant and Bar, wedding receptions, and Wilde Theatre food, drink, and merchandise sales. The stage technicians are managed daily by the Technical Stage Manager.

Job Requirements
EDUCATION
* A good level of education
Desirable:
* A’ Level or FE equivalent
* Recognised health and safety qualification (e.g., IOSH Managing Safely, NEBOSH Gen)
Skills & Knowledge
* Leadership and managerial experience
* Managing a team
* Experience in building facilities/operations
* Knowledge of health and safety, fire safety, IT, insurance, and security
* Budget management
* Target monitoring and achievement
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Desirable:
* Building maintenance
* Experience in arts/leisure facilities
* Knowledge of technical theatre
* Premises Licence management
* Event supervision
* Volunteer coordination
