Senior Charge Nurse - Clinical Assessment Unit
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our fantastic team within the Clinical Assessment Unit. We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, caring and hard‑working Registered Nurse to become a Senior Charge Nurse as part of a multidisciplinary team. A high level of interpersonal, communication and organisational skills are essential. You must demonstrate an appetite for ongoing learning and be able to provide evidence of your professional development.
Responsibilities:
* Provide clinical leadership and expert advice to the nursing team through support and education.
* Lead surveillance and audit and support the Lead Nurse with the core dimensions set out in Leading Better Care.
* Contribute significantly to the development of the rapidly evolving assessment unit within Forth Valley.
* Join the senior leadership team of the CAU at an exciting time of change as the acute care service responds to the needs of the population of Forth Valley to deliver an exceptional quality of urgent and unscheduled acute care.
* Be flexible to work as the situation and service requires and support the provision of acute care service.
Qualifications:
* Registered Nurse, educated to/working towards/operating at Degree level with significant experience at a senior level in an acute setting.
* Clinical expert in Acute Nursing.
* Member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
* Demonstrated ability to lead surveillance and audit, and to provide expert advice and education.
