THE COMPANY: Our client is a leading international Bank based in the City. They are looking for QC & Testing Officer to join the team on a permanent basis. THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Work closely with the Head of Non-Financial Risk and Reporting, KYC Advisory, Head of KYC Team and the Non-Financial Risk and Reporting team to ensure that regulatory and operational risk requirements are adhered to during the KYC review process.
* Undertake analysis, planning and delivery of risk-based outcomes from internal reviews.
* Undertake control testing to support the Non-Financial Risk team in assessing and validating the quality of the controls identified from the CEMEA Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs).
* Support CEMEA 1LOD with required training initiatives.
* Conduct Quality Control (`QC') testing of financial crime related processes.
* Support the development and delivery of the QC framework in CEMEA 1LoD.
* Undertake first line monitoring on a regular and/or thematic basis, as agreed with Head of Non-Financial Risk and Reporting (e.g. Call Monitoring, Real-Time Screening and Transaction Monitoring).
* Provide subject matter expertise on QC linked to Financial Crime Risk.
* Participate in, or lead, as necessary on project related activity linked to the Non-Financial Risk and QC functions.
* Contribute to process / procedure enhancements within the QC function, particularly for Financial Crime Risk.
* Support QC liaison within the Group
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
* QC subject matter expertise (i.e., Financial Crime within FCA-regulated CIB firm).
* Control testing conformity with policy and compliance with UK regulatory requirements, covering AML/CTF, Financial Sanctions and Anti-Bribery & Corruption (including as part of Customer Due Diligence),
* Transaction Monitoring and Name/Payment Screening.
* At least 3 years' relevant SME experience within an FCA-regulated CIB firm
