An exciting opportunity to work within a busy, friendly and dynamic dermatology department based over two hospital sites, Royal Blackburn Hospital and Burnley General Hospital has become available.
The department currently employs a large number of highly skilled nurses, a clinical pharmacist, and three advanced clinical practitioners specialising in dermatology. We are looking to expand this workforce by recruiting a nurse consultant.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct outpatient clinics in medical and general dermatology
* Conduct minor operative procedures lists
* Collaborate with primary care and other specialists for patient referrals and skin cancer prevention
* Participate in weekly multidisciplinary team meetings focused on skin cancer
* Provide mentorship and support for nursing staff within the dermatology department
Requirements
Applicants must be eligible to work in the NHS, undergo a satisfactory medical examination and be subject to DBS clearance.
