HydroFlow Drainage & Civils is seeking a experienced and dependable Construction team leader / Ganger to join our team, delivering civil engineering projects across the Central Belt initial project is located in Edinburgh.
We are particularly interested in individuals who can demonstrate relevant experience, a strong work ethic, and a history of reliable employment within this sector.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee construction projects ensuring all operations are delivered safely on time and to a high standard.
* Experience in excavation, trenching and general groundwork preparation
* Installing drainage systems, Pipelaying, Manhole Construction, Foundations, Concrete Pouring and Finishing
* Proven experience in the delivery of construction projects.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct and lead a squad in all aspects of the works required.
* Safely operating plant and machinery
* Working collaboratively with site teams to meet programme and quality standards
* Adhering to all health and safety and environmental requirements
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
* Proven experience of all aspects of groundworks working on civil engineering and construction projects
* Valid SSSTS card or Equivalent (essential)
* Driving License
* 360 Excavator (Beneficial)
* Confined space
* Good understanding of safe working practices
* Strong commitment to health and safety
