Are you a compassionate Behaviour Mentor with a passion for supporting children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs?
Remedy Education is recruiting for a full-time Behaviour Mentor to join a welcoming SEMH performing arts school in Islington this September.
The Role:
Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEMH needs
Help implement Individual Behaviour Plans (IBPs) and targeted strategies
Use a child-centred approach to manage challenging behaviours effectively
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and the pastoral team
Monitor progress and contribute to behaviour reports and intervention plans
Requirements:
Experience working in a primary school setting is essential
Proven background supporting children with SEMH or challenging behaviour
Excellent communication, resilience, and teamwork skills
A proactive and empathetic approach to supporting pupils' needs
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
