Due to expansion of our busy Lettings office, we have an opportunity for a proactive and detail orientated person to join our multi award winning, friendly team.
This role is a job share role with another member of staff, and pre-dominantly involves arranging and carrying out property inspections, identifying and reporting maintenance issues, and co-ordinating timely repairs and reports.
Key Responsibilities
* Arrange and conduct routine, interim, check in and check out inspections across a large portfolio of managed properties.
-Prepare detailed inspection reports with photographs, videos, condition notes and recommended actions.
-Identify and report any repair, damage or health and safety issues.
-Liaise with Tenants, Landlords, Contractors and colleagues.
-Coordinate and monitor maintenance and repair jobs with approved contractors.
-Ensure all properties are compliant with legal and safety regulations (e.g smoke alarms, gas safety, EPC).
-Maintain accurate records of inspections, communications and maintenance works.
-Support the Lettings team with ad hoc property-related duties as needed.
What we are looking for
We are seeking a very pro-active and detail orientated person to join our team. You should be able to work independently and efficiently manage your own workload. Experience in the industry is preferred however all applicants will be considered who have relevant transferable skills. Full training provided and on-going support.
We require someone with high attention to detail and excellent communication skills, experience in customer service, and someone with a full, manual, clean driving license. Must be a team player, be able to multi-task and have the ability to adapt to a dynamic working environment. A work car is available however use of your own car will be required as well - reimbursement of relevant business insurance is and work miles is included.
Working days/hours
As this is a new role, we are fairly flexible with the hours and days requirements.
Ideally we are initially looking for three week days,, however we are happy to look at tailoring hours to fit around childcare etc, and additional hours will be available for the right candidate. Weekends and bank holidays are not required.

Pay: From £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
