Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our multiple sites. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the hospitality industry, particularly within food preparation and restaurant management. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, culinary expertise, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. The General Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the business run smoothly while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
Responsibilities
* Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient service and high-quality food production.
* Manage and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment.
* Implement and maintain food safety standards in compliance with health regulations.
* Develop menus and manage food preparation processes to ensure consistency and quality.
* Train and mentor staff in culinary techniques, hospitality practices, and customer service.
* Handle inventory management, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels.
* Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures.
* Engage with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or feedback.
* Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall guest experience.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
* Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation and cooking.
* Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
* Previous restaurant or hotel experience is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication skills with a customer-oriented mindset.
* Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
* Experience as a barista is an advantage but not essential.

Pay: £36,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
