Based at Innovation House in Sandwich, Kent, we provide comprehensive legal services to help clients navigate challenging circumstances. A sister company to Girlings LLP, we are an expanding and forward-looking company, with the number of fee-earners here having quadrupled in size over the last 15 years or so. Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Personal Injury Fee-Earner based in Sandwich in East Kent. The role involves managing a diverse caseload of personal injury claims, mostly in the intermediate track, including client interactions, case assessments, legal research, and preparation of legal documents. The fee-earner will be expected to negotiate their own settlements, liaise with medical and legal professionals, and represent clients' best interests throughout the claims process.
Once past the probation period, fee-earners here spend part of their working week in the office and part of it working from home.
Qualifications
Experience in handling own Personal Injury cases including settlement negotiations
Strong legal research, drafting, and documentation skills
Effective communication and client relationship management skills
Ability to work well within a team
Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in the field of Personal Injury
Ideal for a legal executive (litigation rights preferred but not essential) or an experienced paralegal
