About us

About Us:

At Thrive, we help children and young people understand and manage their emotions, so they feel safe, supported, and ready to learn. Our Thrive Approach supports over 600,000 young people across more than 2,600 schools and settings — and we’re not stopping there. Our ambition is to reach 1.5 million students, creating more emotionally resilient young people who are better placed to engage with life and learning.

We offer a blend of training, expert strategies, and an award-winning online tool to help teaching staff transform behaviour, attendance, and attainment in schools. Thrive is proud to be part of the Supporting Education Group, a mission-driven collective focused on improving education outcomes for all.

About the job

About the Role:

We’re looking for a Content Developer to join our passionate and creative Product and Innovation Team. This role is ideal for someone with a flair for writing, content creation, and e-learning design - someone who wants to make a real impact on the wellbeing and success of children and young people.

In this role, you will:

Write and edit high-quality content for digital platforms, printed products, and training materials.

Create engaging e-learning modules and visual learning resources.

Develop and maintain content within Thrive-Online (our online assessment and strategy tool).

Work collaboratively with expert authors, editors, designers, and filmmakers.

Use animation and video editing tools to enhance learning resources.

Support the creation of webinars, briefings and training sessions where needed.

Manage your own content development projects from start to finish.

Ensure all content meets branding, accessibility, and educational quality standards.

About you

About You:

You’re creative, detail-oriented and passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people. You’ll also bring:

Excellent writing skills and the ability to adapt tone and format for different audiences.

A solid understanding of how to structure engaging e-learning or training content.

Digital content creation skills (animation, video editing, or a willingness to learn).

The ability to work across multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

A collaborative approach and a positive, proactive attitude.

Strong project management and organisational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and PowerPoint.

Ideally, experience working in educational settings or knowledge of trauma-informed, relational approaches.

Experience creating content for web-based and print formats.

A willingness to travel occasionally, including visits to our Head Office in Devon.

An openness to completing Thrive training or the Train the Trainer programme.

What we Offer

We’re proud to offer a flexible and inclusive working environment where wellbeing matters and your work makes a genuine difference.

Competitive salary and flexible benefits package including pension, healthcare schemes, and electric vehicle scheme

28 days annual leave (plus Bank Holidays), rising with service to a maximum of 33 days

Ongoing training and development opportunities

Collaborative, supportive team environment

The chance to make a meaningful impact on the education sector

Ready to Thrive with us?

If you’re a creative content professional who’s passionate about education and wellbeing, we’d love to hear from you.
