The Details:
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:30
Place of work: On-site at our Head Office in Ely with some hybrid working both in the office and from home available
The Role:
You will be leading and developing a high-performing sales team. Responsibilities will include:
Team responsibilities:
* Manage day-to-day sales team activity and priorities
* Set and monitor team KPIs, ensuring accountability is taken
* People management activities of team including onboarding, performance, capability and conduct
* Motivate, coach, and develop team members to maximise performance
Individual responsibilities:
* Customer relationship building and management to drive and maximise sales
* Strive to achieve individual KPIs
* Strive to deliver team revenue and margin targets
* Execute the sales strategy across the UK market
* Utilise market research tools to understand market trends/conditions that could influence the sales strategy
* Track performance, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions
* Support key customer meetings and strategic accounts
* Work closely with senior leadership team on budgeting and forecasting activities
* Present monthly board report
* Represent the business at conferences and trade shows
The Requirements:
You will be an experienced sales person with a proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets. You will also have the following skills / experience:
* Management and leadership of a high performing team including:
* Performance and capability management
* Coaching and mentoring
* KPI setting and team delegation
* CRM system usage/management (preferably HubSpot)
* Tracking sales pipelines and accurate forecasting
* Excellent communicator, influencer and negotiator
* Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office Packages
* Adaptable, resilient and trustworthy
