Trinity House Group are recruiting an Assistant Head of Treasury for a global manufacturing organisation undergoing rapid growth and transformation. This is a pivotal role for a hands-on, commercially minded treasury professional looking to help shape a world-class function and influence strategic financial decision-making at board level.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Head of Treasury, the Assistant Head of Treasury will lead the operational and strategic treasury agenda, ensuring financial control, liquidity, and capital structure optimisation across global operations. You will be instrumental in building systems, strengthening governance, and enabling M&A and growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Technical & Operational Leadership
* Design and implement robust treasury systems and controls across global operations.
* Lead the automation of treasury functions, reducing reliance on manual processes.
* Manage FX strategy, including hedging policies and execution.
* Ensure full audit readiness and robust risk mitigation across treasury activities.
* Act as a senior point of contact for global banking relationships.
* Advise the board on capital structure, debt capacity, covenant compliance, and acquisition funding.
* Support capital-raising initiatives alongside the Head of Treasury.
* Lead treasury integration during acquisitions and ensure compliance with group funding arrangements.
* Influence across the organisation with a clear, transparent, and pragmatic communication style.
The Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for a forward-thinking, delivery-focused treasury expert who thrives in high-accountability environments and brings both strategic insight and operational capability.
You will have:
* ACA and/or ACT qualification (or equivalent).
* Proven ability to implement treasury frameworks and processes.
* Deep technical understanding of treasury operations, risk, liquidity, and controls.
* Experience in capital structure strategy and treasury support for M&A.
* Strong stakeholder management skills, including board-level engagement.
* A collaborative, team-first mindset with a sense of humour and energy.
