Responsible for stores receiving, booking in equipment, issuing stock to manufacturing & general stores duties. Ability to follow instructions and undertake tasks with minimal supervision.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
Technical
1. Use of computers and management systems (Costpoint experience would be beneficial but not required)
2. Working in alongside a production team and delivering parts to meet company demands
3. Cycle counting and stock reports
4. Receiving Goods, putting away stock and updating stock lists
5. Picking & Packing
6. Filling in documentation
7. Loading and unloading vans and lorries
8. Tight timelines to work to
9. Operate MHE equipment counterbalance forklift and Reach truck
10. On Occasion will be required to drive the company van for Urgent deliveries and collections.
Time Management
11. Effective time management. Potential to change hours to suit department requirements.
Communication
12. Excellent communication skills. Ability to understand tasks allocated and to work with the department team.

13. Role involves working with the stores and logistics team.

14. Continually build relationships with internal stakeholders to achieve the successful completion of tasks.
15. Adapt to roles within other departments to facilitate delivery of projects

Requirements

Experience
21. Previous experience in a similar working environment
22. Experience of working with other trades / teams to ensure project deliveries.
23. Experience of using of using Warehouse Management Systems
Qualifications
24. Good level of general education
25. Ability to use computers and understanding of Microsoft packages
26. Clean Driving Licence
27. Fork truck licence – preferred (counterbalance and Reach Truck)
