The role:
Our client is a specialist in a niche area of software, with a strong reputation working for global businesses across the UK. This is a 9-month maternity cover contract, ideally starting early July. As a Senior Marketing Executive, you will contribute to the development of their digital marketing strategy.
Reporting directly to the Group Head of Marketing, you will lead, manage, and optimize digital marketing campaigns from start to finish, focusing on customer acquisition and retention. You will map, plan, and manage customer journeys via HubSpot, setting and tracking KPIs. Your responsibilities include creating automated emails for various audiences, reporting on performance, developing engaging content (website updates, landing pages, campaign materials), overseeing social media channels (primarily LinkedIn), and managing SEO activities to enhance brand presence.
You will also manage paid media campaigns for social and search, organize and manage webinars, and coordinate the operational aspects of trade events.
What we’re looking for:
Applicants should have at least 3 years of experience in B2B marketing, including lead generation, customer acquisition, and retention. Experience with multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, social media, email, content, events) is essential.
Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems (such as HubSpot) and analytical tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush) is required. Experience setting up automation to nurture client relationships and guide contacts through the prospect journey is important. Ideally, your experience comes from the tech, software, or services industry.
You should have a data-driven mindset, be creative, and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously. A full, clean driving license and willingness to undergo an Advanced DBS check are also required.
